Q: Why let us design the site
instead of the guy down the street?
A: We're racers and have researched a phenomenal amount of racing
related sites. We've designed and maintained our Dirt Modified website,
the NHRA Drag racing team of Bullet Motorsports, and the Mansfield
Motorsports Speedway website. We understand racing...plus we're
flexible and easy to work with.
Q:
What if I don't like something you do on the site?
A: Let us know and we'll fix it. It's your site. We're
just the ones building it. We can make suggestions and create ideas
for you, but you're the boss.
Q:
What if I tell you to do something and then I decide I don't like it?
A: No harm, no foul. It happens all the time. Sometimes
what sounds like a great idea doesn't look so great once you get it down on
paper...or in this case...online.
Q:
What if I want to make changes every week? Is there an extra charge?
A: Some web designers will offer a racer package that basically
consists of a one page site with no updates allowed. This is basically
useless. Our racers package is designed for frequent changes. We
understand and expect you will need results and points updated once a week,
or have schedule changes at the last minute, or get new photos each week
that you want to add.
Q: What if I hire you to do
the site, but then want to take it over myself or have someone else take it
over down the road?
A: This is your website. You will have the username and password
to the site. That means, at any time, you can take it over on your own
or hire someone else to do so. Don't worry, we won't hold your site
hostage.
Q:
How long will my updates take?
A: We'll update sites as fast as we can. We'll guarantee updates
within a 3 day period of receiving your information for update (barring any
unforeseen emergency or circumstances), but we'll strive to have it done the
same day we receive it.
Q:
I'm a low budget racer. I can't afford to spend a lot on a website.
How much is this going to cost me?
A: As racers ourselves, we realize how expensive the sport can be.
That's why we decided to build a package geared towards the racing industry.
This racer package basically offers double the site space AND throws in the
updates for free. We think that's a pretty significant value
considering you may have updates once or twice a week during season. The
total package cost is: $649.00 for the first year.
This
price INCLUDES:
(1.) domain name research and
registration for one year. (2.) Twelve months of web hosting services
(including email services). (3.) Complete website
design up to 10 pages of content. This can include pages for:
"Home Page", "Driver Profile", "Crew Profiles", "Links", "Schedule",
"Sponsors", "Results/News", "Contact Info", "Photo Gallery", "Merchandise"
or other topics. (4.) Website updates for one year. (5.) Initial
Website setup (6.) Website traffic counter (7.) Submission to search
engines.
Added value, if you put xtremewebsolutions.com on your car, minimum specs of
graphics being 3" tall, by 24" long, we will reduce the total price for your
website to $499.99 for the year!
Q. Sounds good, but what's the
cost after the first year?
A. After the first year, your renewal cost would be: $299.
The $299 includes: (1.) Domain name renewal (2.) One year of hosting
services renewed (3.) Website updates for another full year.
Q.
What if I want to do a total redesign after the first year?
A. Not a problem, however, additional charges may apply for a
redesign. Redesign could include navigational button or layout
changes, page structure changes, page deletions/creations, background
changes or others. Cost will depend on the extent of the redesign and
would be quoted on a case by case basis prior to the work being done.
